Manchester United finally stumbles..

manchester united lost 0 - 2 to Barcelona..

i was not totally surprise cause barca were a good side and played very good football..
good passong play added with a lot of possession..
credit to messi and iniesta tho..
they really thrashed united defense, in my opinion..
with their light speed runs..
even the best defender in the world could hardly catch up..

2 mamat ni trbaik duwh..
at last messi, u can brag all summer bout diz!

dah2, jgn nangis..next season ada lg..
(itu pn klau ko msh ada lg kt Manutd la)

ronaldo played ok at first..
wasted a couple of good chances early in the game..
but sadly, on second half, not the ronaldo we wanted..
guest messi is the best after all..
the rest of united players were kept quite by the barca superb passing game..

altho it was hard to see my fav team lost..
but in the end, we have to admit barca was a better team 2nite..(they managed to do treble diz season) ...
better luck next time, united..

FA Cup & Premier League

ps:dapat 2 trophy pn consider ok dr xda, rite?

Things U Should Aware About..Environment..

damn! we should really take notice bout THIS!

Environmental changes could wipe out some of the world's most well-known travel destinations

By Megan Angelo

s if an eroding worldwide economy weren’t enough to depress travel this year, some hot spots are facing even scarier scenarios: sinking, melting, or literally vanishing from the face of the earth. Thanks to global warming and tourist wear and tear, locales from the Galápagos Islands to Croatia’s Dalmatian coast are breaking down.

Maldive Islands

Country: Republic of Maldives

The Maldives

At stake: $490 million

On the Ground: This chain of islands in the Indian Ocean is about three feet above sea level, and scientists fear it could be submerged by 2050. A $63 million buffer built in the 1990s hasn’t solved the problem, so the government is in talks to relocate all 386,000 of its residents to either Sri Lanka, Australia, or India. That would end the Maldives’ tourism industry—more than 600,000 people visit annually—which accounts for 30 percent of the country’s gross domestic product.

By the numbers: The Maldives could be completely submerged as early as 2050.

Dalmation Coast

Country: Croatia

The Dalmation Coast

At stake: $9 billion

On the ground: The Dalmatian coast, with its picturesque white beaches, became a travel-media darling about a decade ago. Since 1999, the annual tourist count has shot up from 5 million to 11 million. To help boost revenue in its tiny seaside villages, Croatia initially encouraged foreign investment in the villas that dot its coast.

But last year, the government reversed its position, imposing a new set of laws on villa owners that requires them to register for business as well as residential permits, a process that can take as long as a year. The new layer of red tape has scared away foreign investment and is threatening Croatian tourism revenue, which makes up 12 percent of the country’s GDP.

By the numbers: Since 1999, the annual tou

rist count has shot up from 5 million to 11 million.

Great Barrier Reef

Country: Australia

At stake: $46 million

On the ground: Because of heavy tourist traffic, ocean acidification, and rising water temperatures, the 135,000 square miles of live coral off Australia’s northeast coast are shrinking rapidly. To slow the erosion, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority has imposed limits on ship passage and has blocked off some areas surrounding the reef to oversize yachts and cruise lines like Royal Caribbean. So far, these measures have had little impact: In January, the Australian Institute of Marine Science released a study stating that the coral’s natural growth has decreased by 14 percent since 1990. Experts say that by 2050, water temperatures will rise by 1.5°C and the reef will have lost about 95 percent of its living coral.

By the numbers: By 2050, the reef will have lost an estimated 95 percentof its living coral.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Country: Tanzania

At stake: $1 billion

On the ground: About 15,000 climbers tackle Kilimanjaro each year, making the mountain one of the world’s most popular climbs. But the glaciers that cover the landmark are receding rapidly. They’ve lost 84 percent of their ice since 1912 and today cover less than one square mile. Scientists believe the glaciers could be gone completely by 2020, taking with them Tanzania’s main tourist draw. As a result, travelers are flocking to the mountain in greater numbers than ever before. Some of them are combining troubleshooting with sightseeing to help alleviate the problem: Abercrombie & Kent offers expeditions in which travelers (paying $8,195 apiece) deliver weather-monitoring devices to various spots on the cliffs.

By the numbers: Mount Kilimanjaro’s glaciers have lost 84 percent of their ice since 1912.

The Alps

Country: Switzerland

At stake: $17 billion

On the ground: More than 8 million people travel to Switzerland every year, many of them to ski the country’s world-famous Alps. Because of global warming, it is estimated that about 40 percent of the mountain range’s pristine skiing areas will disappear by 2100. Low-altitude destinations are especially susceptible because of their warmer temperatures, and owners have already had to turn to artificial snow to get through the season. The owner of one ski complex in Ernen sold his property to a British businessman for one Swiss franc last year. Other spots—like the $125 million InterContinental Davos, slated to open in 2011—are scrambling to add attractions that don’t require snow, such as indoor sports facilities and spas.

By the numbers: About 40 percent of the Alps’ skiing areas will disappear by 2100.

Galápagos Islands

Country: Ecuador

At stake: $418 million

On the ground: The number of visitors to the archipelago, where Charles Darwin developed his theory of evolution, has increased from 40,000 to 180,000 since 1990; air traffic, meanwhile, has risen by 193 percent since 2001. Those trends are likely to accelerate this year, the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth. Even today, scientists consider the Galápagos to be the world’s purest biodiversity environment, so they’re especially concerned about the way the traffic surge will affect the islands’ life forms. They consider 39 percent of animal species, 50 percent of marine species, and 59 percent of plant species to be threatened. To curb the problem, Ecuador is considering setting a yearly tourist cap and imposing an entry fee of up to $300.

By the numbers: Since 1990, visitors to the Galápagos have more than quadrupled, to 180,000.

so, keep the environment clean and STOP POLLUTING the environment!

- a special poem just for ayah -

Alias b. Salleh
a great husband to my mom, a great dad to us..
1952 - 2008

i've made this poem last year..
put it on my other blog but decide to put it here..
from my deepest heart..
i wrote the poem..
a poem specially made for 'ayah'..

i've lost ayah,
i wanna cry bt i just cant,
y cant i cry?
my mom did, my sisters did, my brother did,
y cant ?...
bt i did in my sleep
dreaming bout ayah when he is still in my reach,
eating and laughing bout things dat were silly,
that is ayah,
always try to make his children happy,

i took my phone and dial his hp,
waited quietly n suddenly,
there's a lady saying,
no yg anda dial tiada dalam perkhidmatan lg,
i knew my sis had terminate it,
bt still i kept calling,

everybody feel sorry to me,
yea, they really care towards my family,
they tried to please me by saying "we know how u feel",
but reality is..they know nothing,

i still cant accept ayah is gone,
he was 56 and still young,
there were alot of things he had planned,
to open up a stall was one of them,
or buy a harley to show off to his fams,
but in the end, its all up to the ONE up there,

i called ayah on friday,
just after jumaat pray,
asked bout my allowance and he said,
"ok,dah masuk dah",
i said "thanx ayah" and that was it,

i wish i could turn back time to dat day,
and said thanx for made me what i am today,
or sorry for all the mistakes i made,
but it was his fate,
to pass away dat monday,

when my sis called round 3 in the morning,
i dont expect a thing coz im still dreaming,
my sis cried and told me "ayah dah xda",
i felt the emptiness u cant imagine,

for 5 minutes i kept thinking,
is diz a joke or am i still dreaming?,
coz i just spoke to ayah just recently,
he sounds happy n fine, trust me..
i laugh and said this must be a bad dream,
which i hope it will end shortly,
the sad thing is..its a real thing..

i cried horribly when im bathing,
like a child lost his play thing,
and no one comforting him,
thats what happened when you lost one of your family,

i will be steady when i see him,
thats what i told myself while im packing,
i quickly pack my stuff and head to Kuching,
took da 1st flight out round 6 in the morning,
to see ayah for the last time, dats my wish..

eventho ayah n i hadn't spoke alot,
especially when im here and he's there,
but i know deep in my heart,
dat he's proud to have me as his son,
i bet he knows to,
dat he is da greatest dad i look up to,

the last thing we did together was vacation in cherating,
i drove 6 hours with him and my sis,
he's at back like a boss kinda thing,
he laughed when we did stupid joke about the monkeys crossing the streets,
when we reach there..its all worth it..
just to spend some precious time with ayah is the best thing..

we went to Terengganu to find somethng,
it was just a few kilometres away from our crib,
satar and otak2 ayah said to me,
"sedap" ayah and my sis explain bout it,
well, they were right..i ate it all and it was yummy..hahaha..

i reach home round 9 with a limo,
there were alot of cars till you cant park anymore,
i dont care coz im finally home,
to see ayah for the last time before he go,

my sisters cried and took my hands,
"a dramatic scenes" i thought in my head,
like drama melayu ada gak ckit2,
but i cant blame them..dats the thing,
they were the one who spent time with ayah when ayah was still ok,

when eveything were settled,
i lay down down and think for a second,
he's gone now and wat will happen?
who r we gonna prank after this?
who r we gonna laugh about after this?
who r we gonna pau for money after this?
who's gonna maki us for making mistakes after this?
question and more questions,
so i pray and hope for the best future ahead,

when my sis graduate at this fancy ceremony,
i saw my dad face and he was happy,
to have the chance to see his children succeed,
its kinda sad he cant see me like my sis,
in a fancy ceremony taking my cert dip,
yea, i know he's watching me,
but its still different when he is up there smilling to me,

im the head of the family now,
take care of family stuff dats my new responsibility,
a burden i must carry through my whole life i think,
but its ok..dats what life means..
but 1st i have to get my dip,
thats what ayah wanted to see,

i miss u ayah,
why u leave us so suddenly?
there are alot of things we could do as a family,
you promise to go camping with us when you are free,
and travel with ibu on a harley after retiring,
it really took us by surprise when u passed,
coz just hours ago, you was healthy as a cow,
thats what my sis told me when i called...

i really miss you ayah,
i cried everytime i think about u,
that is why i wrote this poem,
a special poem just for ayah..
